»Spatially and in terms of design and performance this is an amazing building.«
As a reaction on decline of natural resources worldwide, the Zumtobel Group created the Zumtobel Group Award for Sustainability and Humanity in the Built Environment in 2006, to honor visionary concepts and developments in the built environment. The award is given every two years with a pricebudget of 140.000 euros.
The Zumtobel Group Award 2010 honored ten nominees in two categories: Built Environment and Research & Initiative. Two of these won the award.
For the presentation of the winners and nominees, an exhibition and catalog was designed to explain each project in detail.
